Father’s Day, that special day we come together and say

Thank you,

To our fathers and father figures,

Our earthly and heavenly dads,

Who have been there through the good and bad times,

Some of you left us sooner than expected,

But we know that we are still protected,

By our Heavenly Father!

And so we give thanks today for all you have done and continue to do,

You help us get through,

The troubles of life, the randomness of those DIY jobs,

The advice that we do desperately need,

The direction in life, we so often plead for,

You willingly oblige, but in your time, for you know when the time is right.

And so we give thanks, from our hearts to yours,

And today we pause,

and take a moment,

to give you the limelight,

Dad, father, Grandpa, creator,

For there is no love that is greater,

And so with all our hearts we give thanks to you our earthly and heavenly Dads
